Well Certification: Water Testing Labs of Maryland specializes in testing well water for real estate transfers. We test for conventional, VA and FHA loans. We also test for new well use & occupancy permits.

The pricing below is for Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Dorchester, Harford, Howard, Kent, Queen Anne, Somerset, Talbot, Wicomico and Worcester counties in Maryland. Pricing for all other counties in Maryland, Delaware and northern Virginia are slightly higher, for mileage and travel time.

Conventional Financing $175.00
Includes collection, total coliform bacteria, e. coli, nitrates, sand, turbidity and pH.

VA Financing
VA loan requirements differ with each lender. Please check with lender for testing needed and email sales@wtlmd.com or call 410-643-7711 for pricing. FHA financing plus arsenic will cover almost all VA financing requirements.

FHA Financing $245.00
Includes collection, total coliform bacteria, e. coli, nitrates + nitrites, sand, turbidity, pH, iron and lead.

Bacteria Only $150.00
Includes collection, total coliform bacteria and e. coli.

Certificate of Potability, New Well, Use & Occupancy
Each county has different requirements for COP. Email sales@wtlmd.com or call 410-643-7711 for pricing in your county.

If arsenic is needed, add $55.00

If gross alpha is needed, add $175.00

Site Visit $100.00, additional cost for counties not listed above
If we come to your site and cannot get a sample for any reason beyond our control. For example: we cannot take a sample for a private well that has chlorine in it. If there is chlorine in the sample, you will be charged a site visit for our time and mileage.
